First install yum utils if it’s not installed<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

yum install yum-utils<\/pre>\n
1- Second, start with<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n
yum-complete-transaction\r\nyum update<\/pre>\n
2- If that doesn’t work, try<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n
yum clean all\r\nyum update<\/pre>\n
3- If the above doesn’t work, try the below:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n
yum update --skip-broken<\/pre>\n

\nThen (this might take a while)<\/p>\n
yum check all<\/pre>\n
Then clean Duplicates<\/p>\n
package-cleanup --cleandupes<\/pre>\n
Then update again:<\/p>\n
yum update<\/pre>\n
In addition, if you just want to list the duplicates, (this will not fix anything)<\/p>\n
package-cleanup --dupes # list out duplicates<\/pre>\n
In case of a disconnection while yum is cleaning, the following command will complete the cleanup:<\/p>\n
yum-complete-transaction --cleanup-only<\/pre>\n
