Putty stores the saved sessions on Windows in “Regeddit” Registry<\/p>\n

To backup the registry, run the following command in a Windows powershell:<\/p>\n

reg export HKCU\\Software\\SimonTatham ([Environment]::GetFolderPath(\"Desktop\") + \"\\putty.reg\")<\/code><\/p>\n

This will save a file on your desktop called “putty.reg”<\/p>\n

To import the backed up file<\/p>\n

– Double click the .reg file to open it and add it to registry<\/p>\n
